kardfolio review
The minimal, new option: clean credit tracking, a real web app, CSV import, not much else yet.
Card terms last verified against issuer pages on 2026-09-20.
The newest serious entrant. kardfolio does benefit and credit tracking cleanly across every cadence that matters — monthly, quarterly, annual, anniversary and per-use — adds a proper web app and CSV import, and asks for no credentials at all. It is also very early, with a small feature set and almost no independent review coverage to check it against.
Weighted by the published rubric. Only benefit trackers are scored.
Never requested, and stated bluntly: no bank credentials, no Plaid connections, no transaction-feed access. Benefit logging is manual by design.
Free tier is capped at 5 cards. The annual plan carries a 14-day trial for first-time subscribers.
Beyond the basics
- "Kai", an in-app AI guidance feature.
- CSV import and export.
What it does well
- Genuinely clean and simple, without the feature sprawl the older apps have accumulated.
- Handles the awkward benefit cadences — anniversary-year and per-use credits — that trip up simpler trackers.
- Has a real web app, which two of its three rivals do not.
- CSV import and export, so you are neither hand-typing a large wallet nor locked into it.
- The no-credentials position is stated explicitly rather than left to be inferred.
Where it loses
- Very early. Almost no independent reviews exist, which means little outside verification of any claim about it — including ours.
- No offer activation at all, so a weekly Amex and Chase routine stays entirely manual.
- No Android.
- The free tier stops at five cards, below the wallet size that makes this category worth using.
Verdict
Worth watching rather than switching to. A reasonable pick if your wallet is modest, your cards are US-only, and you want a web app without the sprawl.
Buy it if
Small US wallets, and people who want something simple with a browser-based option.
Look elsewhere if
Anyone who wants offer activation, Android, or a track record.
