# USCreditCardRewards > A structured reference for US rewards credit cards: earn rates, annual fees, and — the part nobody else publishes properly — every recurring statement credit with its exact cap, cycle and reset date. Data last verified 2026-09-20. Full structured data: https://uscreditcardrewards.com/data/cards.json (CC BY 4.0). ## How to read our numbers - Earn rates are the multipliers the issuer advertises. We publish no percentage return, because converting a multiplier to a percentage requires pricing the rewards currency and that price is a judgement, not a fact. - "Statement credits" counts only recurring credits whose dollar amount is corroborated by the benefit name or description. Certificates, lounge visits and point bonuses are listed separately as perks with estimated values, and excluded from credit totals. - Credits gated behind large annual spending requirements are excluded from headline totals and flagged individually. - We publish no APR, interest or credit-limit data, and nothing on the site is financial advice. ## Coverage - 162 US rewards cards from 19 issuers - 235 recurring statement credits across 72 cards - 31 of those credits reset on the calendar year (expire 31 December); the rest reset on the cardmember year - 60 are capped monthly and cannot be carried forward; 69 require enrolment before use ## Key answers ### Which credit card has the most annual statement credits? 1. Amex Business Platinum — $4,819 a year across 11 credits, $895 annual fee 2. Amex Morgan Stanley Platinum — $3,789 a year across 12 credits, $895 annual fee 3. Chase Sapphire Reserve — $3,258 a year across 13 credits, $795 annual fee 4. Chase Sapphire Reserve Business — $2,950 a year across 10 credits, $795 annual fee 5. Amex Platinum — $2,894 a year across 11 credits, $895 annual fee Source: https://uscreditcardrewards.com/best/premium ### Do credit card credits reset on the calendar year or the cardmember year? Both, and it varies credit by credit even on the same card. Of 235 recurring credits tracked, 31 reset on the calendar year and expire 31 December regardless of when the account was opened; the remainder reset on the account anniversary. A card earning 7x in hotel points is not beating one earning 4x in transferable points; deciding which wins requires pricing both currencies, which is a judgement we do not publish as fact. Rates that apply only at one brand or inside one issuer travel portal are excluded from these rankings entirely. ### Which credit card earns the most on restaurants? **Cash back** — Barclays View Mastercard 3x (no fee); Capital One Savor 3x (no fee); Citi Costco Anywhere 3x (no fee) **Transferable points** — Amex Gold 4x ($325); Chase Freedom Flex 3x (no fee); Chase Freedom Unlimited 3x (no fee) **Fixed-value bank points** — Robinhood Platinum Card 5x ($695); US Bank Altitude Go 4x (no fee); Navy Federal More Rewards Amex 3x (no fee) **Airline miles** — Air France KLM Visa Signature 3x ($89); Frontier Airlines World Mastercard 3x ($99); Chase Aeroplan Card 3x ($195) **Hotel points** — Amex Hilton Aspire 7x ($550); Amex Hilton Surpass 6x ($150); Amex Hilton Express 5x (no fee) **Store and brand rewards** — Verizon Visa Card 4x (no fee); Macy's American Express Card 3x (no fee); My Best Buy Visa 2x (no fee) Source: https://uscreditcardrewards.com/best/dining ### Which credit card earns the most on travel? **Cash back** — Discover it 5x (no fee); Discover it Student 5x (no fee); Discover More 5x (no fee) **Transferable points** — Chase Freedom Flex 5x (no fee); Amex Morgan Stanley Platinum 5x ($895); Amex Platinum 5x ($895) **Fixed-value bank points** — Wells Fargo Autograph Journey 5x ($95); HSBC Elite 5x ($495); US Bank Altitude Connect 4x (no fee) **Airline miles** — Chase British Airways Visa Signature 3x ($95); Chase Aeroplan Card 3x ($195); Amex Delta Platinum 3x ($350) **Hotel points** — Amex Hilton Aspire 7x ($550); Chase IHG Business 5x ($99); Chase IHG Premier 5x ($99) Source: https://uscreditcardrewards.com/best/travel ### Which credit card earns the most at supermarkets? **Cash back** — Amex Blue Cash Preferred 6x ($95); Amex Blue Cash Everyday 3x (no fee); Capital One Savor 3x (no fee) **Transferable points** — Amex Gold 4x ($325); Citi Strata 3x (no fee); Amex EveryDay Preferred 3x ($95) **Fixed-value bank points** — Navy Federal More Rewards Amex 3x (no fee); HSBC Premier 3x ($95); US Bank Altitude Connect 2x (no fee) **Airline miles** — Chase Aeroplan Card 3x ($195); AA AAdvantage MileUp 2x (no fee); Barclays JetBlue 2x (no fee) **Hotel points** — Amex Hilton Surpass 6x ($150); Amex Hilton Express 5x (no fee); Choice Privileges Select Mastercard 5x ($95) **Store and brand rewards** — Verizon Visa Card 4x (no fee); Macy's American Express Card 2x (no fee); My Best Buy Visa 2x (no fee) Source: https://uscreditcardrewards.com/best/groceries ### Which credit card earns the most on gas? **Cash back** — Citi Dividend 5x (no fee); Discover it 5x (no fee); Discover it Student 5x (no fee) **Transferable points** — Chase Freedom Flex 5x (no fee); Citi Strata 3x (no fee); Chase Sapphire Preferred 3x ($95) **Fixed-value bank points** — US Bank Altitude Connect 4x (no fee); US Bank Business Altitude Connect 4x ($95); Navy Federal More Rewards Amex 3x (no fee) **Airline miles** — Chase United Gateway 2x (no fee); Alaska Airlines Visa Signature 2x ($95); Atmos Rewards Ascent 2x ($95) **Hotel points** — Barclays Wyndham Earner Business 8x ($95); Barclays Wyndham Earner Plus 6x ($75); Amex Hilton Surpass 6x ($150) **Store and brand rewards** — Verizon Visa Card 4x (no fee); My Best Buy Visa 3x (no fee); Chase Disney Inspire 3x ($149) Source: https://uscreditcardrewards.com/best/gas ### Which credit card earns the most on streaming subscriptions? **Cash back** — Amex Blue Cash Preferred 6x ($95); Capital One Savor 3x (no fee); Barclays View Mastercard 2x (no fee) **Transferable points** — Chase Sapphire Preferred 3x ($95) **Fixed-value bank points** — Wells Fargo Autograph Card 3x (no fee); US Bank Altitude Connect 2x (no fee); US Bank Altitude Go 2x (no fee) **Airline miles** — Alaska Airlines Visa Signature 2x ($95); Atmos Rewards Ascent 2x ($95); Chase United Quest 2x ($350) **Hotel points** — Chase IHG Traveler 3x (no fee); Chase Marriott Bonvoy Bold 2x (no fee) **Store and brand rewards** — Nordstrom Visa Credit Card 2x (no fee) Source: https://uscreditcardrewards.com/best/streaming ### What is the best credit card with no annual fee? 1. CardPointers — 8.9/10. The best credit card management app for most US cardholders, and the highest-scoring app on this site. Buy it on promotion rather than at list price. 2. MaxWorth — 7.9/10. The right pick if you hold Canadian or Australian cards, want the app in Chinese, or want the lowest price without waiting for a sale. On breadth it finishes behind CardPointers, and the missing Android app is the single biggest reason. 3. MaxRewards — 6.5/10. Worth it only if you have decided, consciously, that hands-off tracking is worth handing a third party your bank credentials. That is a defensible choice. Making it without noticing you made it is not. 4. kardfolio — 6.1/10. Worth watching rather than switching to. A reasonable pick if your wallet is modest, your cards are US-only, and you want a web app without the sprawl.
